Hand and finger infections are usually caused by injuries such as needles, splinter sting, or injuries that we do not pay much attention to or treat them adequately. The hand and fingers have compartments separated by various borders. Infection agents reaching these areas through open injuries or contact with foreign bodies cause localized or widespread infections. The causes of infection are mostly bacteria, fungi and viruses. Most of these factors are found on the skin in the hands of a healthy individual, injuries, hand fractures, peelings, permanent integrity of the skin due to being wet to help them to move from the surface of the hand to the inner region.
